Terms of Service - FlowSnippet

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using FlowSnippet ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

FlowSnippet provides production-ready Salesforce Flow templates that users can download and deploy to their Salesforce organizations. The Service includes:

10 free Flow templates
Premium Flow templates (paid)
Documentation and deployment guides
One-click deployment features
Email notifications and account management

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

Provide accurate and complete information
Maintain and update your account information
Keep your password secure and confidential
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

3.2 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain account security.

4. License Terms

4.1 License Grant - Free Templates

Our 10 free templates are provided under an unrestricted license for unlimited use in any Salesforce organization (production or sandbox).

Permitted Use - Free Templates:

✓ Deploy to unlimited Salesforce organizations
✓ Deploy to unlimited sandbox environments
✓ Modify and customize for your needs
✓ Use in commercial client projects
✓ Share modified versions within your organization
✓ Use as learning and reference materials

4.2 License Grant - Premium Templates (Pro & Enterprise)

Premium templates require a paid license. Each license is issued to a specific user email address and is tracked via a unique license key embedded in the downloaded template files.

Pro License - Single Organization Use:

A Pro license grants the following rights for ONE (1) Salesforce production organization:

✓ Deploy to one (1) production Salesforce organization
✓ Deploy to unlimited sandbox environments associated with that production org
✓ Modify and customize the template for your organization's needs
✓ Access to template updates for the duration specified (typically 12 months)
✓ Use in client projects (consultants: one license required per client production org)

Enterprise License - Multi-Organization Use:

An Enterprise license includes all Pro features plus:

✓ Deploy to unlimited production Salesforce organizations within your company
✓ Priority support and customization assistance
✓ Bulk deployment guidance
✓ Advanced training materials

4.3 License Restrictions - ALL Templates

Regardless of license type, you may NOT:

✗ Redistribute or share the original XML template files with others
✗ Resell or sublicense FlowSnippet templates as standalone products
✗ Upload to public repositories (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, etc.) without explicit permission
✗ Create derivative template libraries or competing products using our templates
✗ Remove or modify license watermarks embedded in template files
✗ Claim authorship of the original template design and logic
✗ Share license keys or user credentials with others
✗ Circumvent access controls or authentication mechanisms

4.4 Deployment Methods

FlowSnippet provides two deployment methods:

Method 1: Direct XML Download (Watermarked)

When you download templates directly from the FlowSnippet website, the XML files contain embedded license information as XML comments, including:

Licensed user email address
Unique license key (for Pro/Enterprise tiers)
Download date and time
License type (Free, Pro, or Enterprise)

This watermark:

Does not affect template functionality or Salesforce validation
Appears as XML comments (not visible in Flow Builder UI)
Allows us to track unauthorized distribution if templates are shared
Provides legal evidence of license ownership
Must not be removed or modified (see Section 4.3)

Method 2: One-Click GitHub Deploy (Unwatermarked)

When you use the "Deploy to Salesforce" button (via Salesforce CLI and GitHub), templates are deployed directly from our public GitHub repository without license watermarks.

Important notes about GitHub deployment:

Available for free templates only (no authentication required)
Premium templates (Pro/Enterprise) are NOT available via GitHub deploy
No watermark is added during GitHub deployment
You still agree to all license terms regardless of deployment method
GitHub deploy provides convenience but does not change license restrictions

Regardless of which deployment method you use, you agree to comply with all license terms stated in this section, including the prohibition on unauthorized redistribution.

4.5 Consultants and Service Providers

If you are a Salesforce consultant or service provider deploying templates for clients:

You must purchase a separate Pro license for each client production org
Enterprise licenses allow internal multi-org use but not client deployments (unless negotiated)
You may not charge clients separately for FlowSnippet templates (build into service fees)
You must maintain accurate records of which clients received which templates

4.6 License Violations and Consequences

Violation of these license terms may result in:

Immediate termination of your license
Termination of your FlowSnippet account
Legal action to recover damages
Reporting to Salesforce and relevant authorities
No refund of license fees

If you become aware of license violations, please report them to legal@flowsnippet.com.

4.7 License Transfer

Licenses are non-transferable except:

Company mergers or acquisitions (requires notification)
Permanent employee role changes (requires approval)

To request a license transfer, contact support@flowsnippet.com with:

Original license key
Current and new user email addresses
Reason for transfer
Company documentation (if applicable)

5. Payment and Refunds

5.1 Pricing

Prices for premium templates are displayed on our website and processed through Gumroad. All payments are one-time purchases unless otherwise stated.

5.2 Refund Policy

IMPORTANT: Digital products are non-refundable once downloaded.

Due to the instant delivery and digital nature of our products, all sales are final once you have downloaded the template files. By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that you are purchasing digital goods that cannot be returned or exchanged.

No Refunds After Download

Once a template has been downloaded, no refunds will be issued for any reason, including but not limited to:

Change of mind or buyer's remorse
Difficulty understanding or implementing the template
Lack of technical skills required for deployment
Misunderstanding of template functionality (description is provided)
Incompatibility with your specific Salesforce org configuration
Template doesn't meet your specific business requirements
You found a free alternative elsewhere

Pre-Purchase Review

Before purchasing, you are encouraged to:

Read the complete template description and documentation
Review the "Prerequisites" section to ensure compatibility
Check the "Use Cases" to confirm it matches your needs
Review the "Features" list carefully
Try our 10 free templates first to evaluate quality
Contact support with questions before purchasing

Limited Exceptions - Pre-Download Only

Refunds may be considered only if requested before downloading the template and only in these circumstances:

Accidental double purchase: You accidentally purchased the same template twice (within 24 hours, with proof)
Payment processing error: You were charged but did not receive access to the template
Service outage: Our service was completely unavailable preventing any template access

To request a refund under these limited exceptions, you must:

Contact support@flowsnippet.com within 24 hours of purchase
Provide your order number and license key
Confirm that you have NOT downloaded the template
Provide evidence supporting your refund request

Technical Issues

If you encounter technical issues with a template (bugs, deployment failures, errors):

We will help you resolve the issue - Contact support for troubleshooting assistance
We will fix genuine bugs - If a template has a verified bug, we'll release an update
We will provide clarification - If documentation is unclear, we'll help explain
No refunds will be issued - Support and fixes are provided instead

Quality Guarantee

While we do not offer refunds, we guarantee that:

All templates are tested and working as described
Templates can be deployed to standard Salesforce orgs
Documentation accurately describes template functionality
Support is available to help with implementation questions
Bug fixes and updates are provided for the license period

Chargeback Policy

WARNING: If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute after downloading a template:

Your FlowSnippet account will be immediately terminated
All license keys will be revoked
You will be reported to Gumroad for fraudulent activity
Legal action may be taken to recover damages
You forfeit any future access to FlowSnippet services

If you have a legitimate dispute, contact us first at support@flowsnippet.com. We will work with you to resolve the issue before involving payment processors.

Gumroad Refund Process

All payments are processed through Gumroad. If you qualify for a refund under our limited exceptions:

We will process the refund through Gumroad
Refunds typically take 5-10 business days to appear
Gumroad fees (if any) are not refundable
Your license will be immediately revoked upon refund

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding templates provided to users) are owned by FlowSnippet and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7. User Content and Conduct

7.1 Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may not:

Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Infringe on intellectual property rights
Transmit malicious code or viruses
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
Use the Service to spam or harass others

7.2 Feedback

Any feedback, comments, or suggestions you provide are voluntary. We may use such feedback without any obligation to compensate you.

8. Service Availability

We strive to provide continuous access to the Service but do not guarantee:

Uninterrupted or error-free operation
That defects will be corrected
That the Service is free from viruses or harmful components

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party services including:

Salesforce: You must comply with Salesforce's terms of service
GitHub Deploy Tool: Governed by its own terms
Gumroad: Payment processing subject to Gumroad's terms

We are not responsible for third-party services or their availability.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

Merchantability
Fitness for a particular purpose
Non-infringement
Accuracy or completeness

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FLOWSNIPPET SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
Loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill
Service interruption or system failures
Errors in templates or documentation

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months prior to the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FlowSnippet from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

Your use of the Service
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any third-party rights

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without notice, if you:

Breach these Terms
Engage in fraudulent activity
Violate applicable laws

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Templates already downloaded remain subject to their original license terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your Jurisdiction], without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of [Your Jurisdiction].

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by email or through the Service. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and FlowSnippet regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements.
